Cryptic graphite is a kind of graphite commonly known as earth-like graphite, which is one of the important non-metallic mineral raw materials. Both at home and abroad, there is considerable output and storage.

In other countries, the raw ore would be sold as a block or powder after simple manual separation in production of cryptic graphite. The general grade of raw ore is high (60%~90% Carbon), but the separability is poor, so it is rare to adopt milling of ores. There is no mineral processing plant in China in the past. Only a few countries, such as Austria, Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union, had mineral processing plant and floatation treatment.
