Today we would like to introduce the lubrication mechanism of graphite. We have introduced the effects of ambient atmosphere, temperature, load, grain size, current and magnetic field on the friction and wear properties of graphite materials. We also introduced the improvement of graphite properties by impregnation treatment, silicification treatment and interlaminar insertion treatment. We find that there are still defects and shortcomings in the properties of graphite materials. At the same time, we suggest that the friction and wear characteristics, lubrication mechanism and modification of graphite materials should be deeply studied.

In this text, we briefly introduced the application of lubricating graphite. In the process of underground use of shearer, rocker arm and bracket, bracket and traction part often get stuck. This phenomenon not only affects the normal rise and fall of the rocker arm, but also causes the difficulties of disassembly.

In view of the problems, we analyze and study them from designing and usage. We improve the lubrication effect of conical shaft by using self-lubricating graphite copper sleeve. This method improves the wear resistance and effectively solves the problem of conical shaft locking.
