1. Special tools should be used to remove graphite slag, and the slag should be removed in time before solidification. Or the solidified slag will be difficult to remove.

2. We should avoid scraping graphite crucible wall while removing slag.

3. When the multi-layer slag is solidified on the wall of graphite crucible, the thermal conductivity of graphite crucible will be affected by erosion. Under the influence of this, the graphite crucible expands and cracks during the process of heating. Therefore, the service life of graphite crucible is shortened.
