Brief Introduction of Graphite Rotor

Graphite rotor is a special application in graphite products. The purification process of liquid aluminum alloy is the main means to improve the comprehensive properties of aluminum alloy. In the purification process, the purification gas and solvent are mixed. The method of purifying aluminum melt by rotating injection of graphite rotor is an advanced treatment in the world at present.

 

The rotating nozzle of graphite rotor is made of high-purity graphite. The structure of graphite nozzle can disperse bubbles. The graphite nozzle also has to make use of the centrifugal force produced by stirring the aluminum alloy melt to make the melt enter the nozzle and mix evenly with the horizontally ejected gas. In this way, gas/liquid flow can be ejected. This method can increase the contact area and contact time between bubble and aluminum alloy liquid, and can also improve the effect of gas removal and purification.

 

Graphite rotor can realize stepless speed by frequency converter. High purity antioxidant graphite rotor has the characteristics of high strength, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance for aluminum flow and so on. In the process of purifying and degassing, the surface of the aluminum alloy liquid in the box is filled with nitrogen. In this way, the graphite rotor exposes the part of the aluminum alloy liquid around the inert gas. The method can prevent the rotor from the high-temperature oxidation and prolong the service life of the graphite rotor.

 

The shape of the graphite impeller is streamline. As a result, the rotating resistance of graphite rotor is weakened. At the same time, the friction brushing force between graphite impeller and aluminum alloy liquid is relatively small.
