1. First of all, 2 graphite powder samples of 1g were accurately measured by electronic analytical balance. The sample was placed in a double-covered porcelain crucible and graphite boat with known weight, and then the sample was dried to a constant weight in a 105 ℃ drying box. Finally, the weight of graphite powder G1 and G2 were recorded respectively.
2. The double-covered porcelain crucible containing graphite powder is stored in a 950℃-constant-temperature furnace for 7 minutes. Then remove the double-covered porcelain crucible and cool it to room temperature in the dryer. Then the weight of graphite powder is marked G3.
3. The graphite boat containing graphite powder is stored in a high temperature furnace at 950 ℃ for 90 minutes. Then remove the graphite powder and cool it to room temperature. At this point, the weight of the material is the weight of ash G4.
4. First, the volatile matter of graphite powder is calculated as V(%)= (G1-G3)/ G1×100%. In this way, the formula for calculating the purity of graphite powder is obtained by C(%)=[(G2-V-G4)/ G2]×100%.
