Disadvantages of Resin-based Carbon Fiber Composites

The specific strength, specific modulus, and other properties of resin-based carbon fiber composites are much better than those of other materials. However, the defects of resin-based carbon fiber composites and the defects of processing and production limit its application and performance.

The control of the process should be strict, otherwise it is easy to appear porosity, delamination and other defects.
