Graphite has stable chemical properties and no chemical corrosiveness. Dust removal in the workshop is mainly to reduce the concentration of dust in the air, collect fine dust.

1. Ensure that the graphite processing workshop is sealed to avoid dust pollution. Graphite dust is contained in the air in the graphite processing workshop. We should collect and purify the graphite dust through the dust removal system and then discharge it out of the workshop. 

2. Graphite processing should be divided according to the concentration of dust. Divisional processing is also easy to manage. Different machine tools and different processing processes produce different concentrations of graphite. Such as sawing process produce relatively larger concentration of dust. Because the graphite processing center has its own perfect dust-proof and dust-removing system, it greatly reduces the escape of graphite dust. If the sawing machine is put together with the machining center, it will cause secondary pollution to the machining center. 

3、Graphite vacuum pipe should be planned uniformly and reasonably so as not to affect the process operation. 

4、Graphite machine tools and graphite workshop should be cleaned regularly. Filter-type dust collector is a kind of high efficiency dust removal equipment. The dust-proof and dust-removing system in the workshop mainly include dust collector, dust-collecting pipe and fan. Graphite dust belongs to hydrophobic dust with poor wettability, therefore, it is not advisable to adopt wet dust removal technology. The particles of graphite dust volatilized in the workshop are small, and the temperature of  graphite dust is not high, so there is no special requirement for the dust collector.
