The technique of measuring the thermal conductivity of graphite is more complicated than that of electrical conductivity. The unsteady method of instantaneous heating of the specimen by electron beam and laser is very effective. As this method is suitable for high-precision thermal conductivity measurement, it is often used for thermal conductivity measurement of graphite.
