Conditions for the Formation of Pyrolytic Graphite

Release time: 2020-05-27

The formation conditions of pyrolytic graphite are as follows

1、Temperature effect: The higher the deposition temperature, the lower the hydrocarbon concentration should be. The higher the deposition temperature, the lower the concentration of hydrocarbons. For example, hydrocarbon concentrations are less than 5%(volume fraction) at deposition temperatures above 1900℃.

2、Pressure effect: The lower the gas pressure in the reactor, the greater the hydrocarbon concentration

3、Flow rate effect: the greater the flow rate of gas, the greater the hydrocarbon concentration can be taken. In addition, if there is water vapor and oxygen in the gas, it is easy to produce a lot of carbon black.
