Causes of Graphite Oxidation

Release time: 2020-07-06

The reasons for graphite oxidation are as follows

1、The top cover of graphite is too thin.

2、The filling material is not dense, and the local sinking causes the top material to sink, which makes the graphite product exposed.

3、The temperature of graphite products out of the furnace is too high.

4、Cracks in the wall of the furnace cause the air to enter through the cracks, which makes graphite products near the cracks oxidized.

5、When the filling material is too wet, the shrinkage causes the local filling material to collapse, and the graphite product is partially exposed.
