In order to improve the mechanical strength of graphite bearings, especially to improve their impact toughness, we often use some fusible metals with good wear resistance to impregnate graphite bearings.

Graphite plugged bearings is based on metal material, and graphite is embedded on the metal friction surface of bearing as a solid lubricating material. Its compression strength, flexural strength and thermal expansion coefficient generally depend on the base metal material and can run under heavy load.
