CFC or C/C are carbon composites. Its main features are as follows:

Physical property: CFC has higher carbon content than 99% after high temperature heat treatment. CFC has low density and strong affinity. Because of the high melting point of carbon element, the CFC has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance, and also has acid, alkali and salt resistance.

Mechanical properties: the strength, elastic modulus and friction resistance of CFC are very good.

High temperature stability: the room temperature strength of CFC can be maintained to 2500℃. CFC is insensitive to thermal stress and has good ablation resistance.
