This article gives a brief introduction to the purification method of graphite.

Physical purification of graphite is high temperature purification. Using the high temperature resistance characteristics of graphite, we put it in an electric furnace to isolate the air from heating to 2500℃, making the ash (i. e., impurities) evaporate.

High temperature purification allows us to obtain high-purity graphite with a grade of 99.9%.
