The specific density characteristics of the CFC are shown as follows.

The density of the CFC is low. CFC is obtained by adding carbon matrix to carbon fiber preform by infiltration and impregnation. Its density is generally not higher than 2.0g/cm².

The density of CFC is about 1/4 of nickel-based superalloy and 1/2 of ceramic material.
