To prepare CFC by using pulse method provides a feasible method to solve the problem of hole plugging and long cycle of homogeneous thermal method.

Later, the pulse method was applied to the CVI process, which enhanced the penetration and shortened the densification cycle of the CFC.

We studied the influence of temperature, pressure residence time and the type of gas precursor on the deposition of pyrolytic carbon by the PCVI process of the CFC.
