Effects of Temperature, Furnace Pressure, and Gas Flow on the ICVI Deposition of the CFC

Release time: 2022-04-19

This article briefly describes the effects of deposition temperature, furnace pressure and gas flow on ICVI deposition of CFC.

Obviously, increasing the furnace pressure and gas flow has a better deposition effect than increasing the deposition temperature of CFC.

Increasing the flow of sedimentary gas in the CFC under the same deposition temperature environment is an effective way to improve the deposition rate. Finally, after optimizing the process, a CFC brake disc of 1.7g/cc was prepared by ICVI, and the deposition time was reduced from 1500h to 900h with conventional ICVI.
