The FCVI process was first used to manufacture ceramic matrix composites, and later the technology was also applied to the CFC.

The FCVI process of CFC adds the forced directional flow of precursor gas to TCVI, combining the advantages of TCVI and PCVI.

When the CFC is deposited, the precursor gas flows from the low temperature to the high temperature driven by the pressure gradient, which greatly improves the transmission rate of the precursor gas inside the CFC preform, while improving the deposition efficiency.
