Because the liquid precursor is violently boiling and directly contacting the CFC preforms, the transmission path of the precursor in the preform is short and the transmission rate is high, which greatly improves the densification rate of the process.

The FBCVI process of the CFC is usually performed under conditions of normal or micropositive pressure. Comparing with the traditional low-pressure ICVI process, the deposition rate of CFC by the FBCVI process is further increased.

This process can provide a new way to manufacture CFC at low cost.
