The structural improvement of CFC preform is briefly introduced as follows.

CFC preform can be wrapped with a layer of porous insulation material to reduce heat loss during densification. It ensures the temperature required for pyrolysis carbon deposition and sufficient densification of the CFC.

The wrapping of the PTFE film in the outer layer of the CFC preform reduces the transmission efficiency of the precursor and reduces the heat exchange between the heater and the precursor. However, it can not only improve the use efficiency of the power supply, but also improve the density uniformity of the CFC.
