We investigated the changes in the flexural strength of the CFC with a single tissue structure before and after heat treatment.

With the increase of the heat treatment temperature, we will find that the CFC with the HT-PyC matrix decreases its flexural strength by about 23% and 39% after undergoing the heat treatment of 2100℃ and 2500℃, respectively.

However, the flexural strength of the CFC with the MT-PyC matrix did not decrease significantly.
