We investigated the thermal conductivity of the CFC in the deposition state and after heat treatment.

We found that the thermal conductivity of the heat-treated CFC samples was increased by 4~5 times compared to that in the deposited state.This is mainly because the microcrystal layer spacing of the heat-treated samples decreases, the improvement of the graphitization degree increases the average size of the microcrystal, and the average free path of the phonon also increases.

Thus, the thermal conductivity of the CFC is improved.
