To manufacture the CFC, the calcined petroleum coke, medium-temperature coal tar asphalt, and PAN-based short-cut carbon fiber (5mm) are adopted for the raw materials.

During the manufacturing process, we also add about 20% of the matrix modifier-boron glass, and then the pitch-based CFC is manufactured by pressure-roasting-method.

Our preliminary judgment is that the addition of boron glass modifier can greatly improve the antioxidant capacity of CFC.
