We added the SiC powder to the acupuncture integral felt by the ultrasonic oscillation method, and prepared the CFC-SiC composite by using the thermal gradient CVI rapid densification process.

The line ablation rates and the mass ablation rates of the CFC-SiC composite under the ablation of oxyacetylene were 47.1% and 70.6% of the CFC, respectively.

It indicated that the addition of SiC improved the ablation resistance of the CFC.
