These additives are dispersed into the precursor of matrix carbon by methods such as cosphere grinding or coprecipitation, jointly forming as CFC.

For the CFC manufactured by CVI, the additives are generally introduced into the preformed body, but there are problems such as poor dispersion uniformity, so that the effect of improving the performance is limited.
