Low-density CFC is manufactured with carbon felt by Chemical Vapor Deposition.

The ZrC-SiC multigroup-modified CFC sample is successfully manufactured by using polycarbon silane and organic zirconium precursor as the precursor for complex phase ceramics.

The SiC-phase biome containing the ZrC particles is diffusely distributed in the CFC matrix, and with the increase of the organic zirconium content in the precursor, the mechanical properties of the CFC will rise first and then decrease.
