The 2D CFC-ZrC-SiC composite is manufactured by using the PIP (precursor infiltration and pyrolysis) process composed of polymer organic zirconium and polycarbon silane (PCS).

The results of the 3000℃ oxyacetylene ablation test show that the modified composite has better corrosion resistance than the CFC and CFC-SiC composites.

The mass and line ablation rates of the 2D CFC-ZrC-SiC composite materials are-0.401mg/s and 1.02pum/s, respectively.
