The carbon in the CFC reacts with oxygen in an aerobic environment above 370℃.

The oxidation reaction equation, standard enthalpy and reaction conditions of CFC are given in table form.

When the partial pressure of oxygen is very low, the reaction of CFC still has a large Gibbs free energy difference to drive the reaction from left to right rapidly, and the oxidation rate is proportional to the partial pressure of oxygen.
