Ablative Mechanism and Classification of CFC

Release time: 2022-11-08

The ablative mechanism of CFC itself is the basis of the subsequent anti-ablative research.

In view of the impact of higher temperature (1800℃), intense thermal shock, high heat flux, strong air scour and other environments, the ablative resistance of CFC is a technical method to modify or extend its service life by adjusting its structure or selecting ultra-high temperature materials or coatings on the basis of oxidation resistance technology.

According to the ablative mechanism, CFC can be classified into one of the following three types: sublimation type, melting type and carbonization type.
