Under the same experimental conditions, the higher the density of CFC, the better the ablative performance.

For throat lining materials, the ablation rate decreases with the increase of CFC density. When the density increases by 10%, the ablation rate can decrease by about 15%.

However, when the density of CFC increases to a certain value, the ablation rate will remain basically unchanged even if the density continues to increase, and even have a negative effect.
