The coating should have good chemical compatibility with CFC.

In order to avoid carbothermic reduction reaction between coating and carbon matrix at high temperature, good chemical compatibility between coating and CFC should be achieved.

At high temperature, carbon can react with oxide ceramics to produce CO. For example, C reacts with Si02 to produce CO and SiO at 1450℃. At 1500℃, the vapor pressure of CO will be greater than 0.1MPa, leading to the outward diffusion of carbon after the reaction, so oxide materials are generally not used as the inner coating.
