Metal Ir coatings can be prepared on the surface of CFC by Laser Induced Liquid Deposition.

By this method, thicker Ir coating can be obtained, and the coating and the matrix of CFC are well bonded.

However, cracks will be formed in the process of preparation of the coating, which leads to the anti-oxidation effect of the coating used for CFC is not very ideal.
