A variety of SiC/ borosilicate glass coatings can effectively protect CFC in a wide temperature range.

The effective protection time of the above coatings for CFC exceeds 100 hours at 900℃, 150 hours at 1300℃ and 140 hours at 1500℃, respectively.

The metal coatings used for CFC, especially metal Ir, have the characteristics of high melting point, low saturated vapor pressure, low oxygen permeability, and good oxidation resistance at high temperature.
