These methods are proposed to alleviate the cracking tendency of the coating and improve the toughness of the ceramic coating used for CFC.

The principle of multiphase ceramics is to disperse ceramic particles with high thermal expansion coefficient in the ceramic matrix with low thermal expansion coefficient in order to construct multiphase composite structure, so as to form a large number of phase interfaces, which can effectively relax the stress in the coating and alleviate the mismatch between the thermal expansion coefficient of ceramics and CFC.
