The thermal expansion coefficient of CFC is about 1.0x10^-6/K, while that of SiC ceramic is 4.5x10^-6/K.

The difference of thermal expansion coefficient between them leads to the formation of thermal stress in the coating used for CFC.

Because the coating is prone to crack in the preparation process, the antioxidant capacity of the coating used for CFC will be affected.
