ZrC/SiC gradient ablation - resistant coatings for CFC were prepared by the SAPS method.

The coating can be used to protect CFC.

Compared with CFC coated with SiC, the linear ablation rate and mass ablation rate of the gradient ablation - resistant coating were reduced by 50% and 60% respectively.
