The ablation of CFC under oxyacetylene environment revealed the following phenomena:

HfC, Hf(Ta)C, and HfC/ZrC coatings can effectively enhance the ablation resistance of CFC.

Furthermore, regarding the ablation-resistant performance of coatings applicable to CFC, the particle-stacked structure of HfC exhibits superior ablation resistance compared to the columnar-structured HfC.
