The slurry is rendered completely anhydrous on the CFC substrate under isothermal conditions.

The slurry-impregnated CFC is subjected to heat treatment in a high-temperature furnace under an inert atmosphere.

The resultant CFC coating is obtained upon completion of the aforementioned sequence.
